 RHUBARB - METHOD

Rhubarb

Rhubarb cultivation is very similar to that of asparagus. The stems are harvested when they are robust and sufficiently large in diameter. The harvest should be stopped in time to allow the accumulation of residue in the roots.

One difference is that the rhubarb should be spaced 60 - 90 cm apart in the furrows and the roots should be planted deep enough so that the tops of the the crowns are just above ground level.
